GRRRRRrrrr....

I hate my weight, well: I am still under what I was when I got pregnatn by... at leat 15-20lbs... but I am more than I promised myself I ever would be (160...) and about 10ish lbs at my lightest.  I knew I was going to gain some after breastfeeding, but I have GOT to get a handle on all ofthis.

Problem is I am getting obsessed witht he scale, but not taking action. So: what do I have to do?

a) stop whining

b) take action!

I know I can loose it: I did it before I can do it again. This time I won't have Erica's help, nor will I have wierdo hormones to help me out! But I have more incentive. I LIKE being smaller, I LIKE being able to walk into a store and get anything I want to wear... it's a good feeling.

So... hopefully when I go back to work, I can also kick this into high gear. At work, there is no opportunity to snack on crap if you buy salad. And I know that I can live on a lunch of a really good low fat salad without going bonkers. Wish me luck!

Hey MikeJames!!!  Still room in 2old2 loose poundage or what ever it's called: you got another recruit!

Will post fun pictures of trip soon. Sorry for the rant

You are way to harsh on yourself. You look great. Why not take care of what you've got. Think of eating only good healthy food. Take the pressure of losing pounds out of the equation. Instead, go for nice walks, bike ride, yoga, bellydance (I love this one!) show your little one how great mommy dances. All for the fun of it. I bet you'll take off a few by realizing you already look good, (and you do) you're already at a good starting point. You just want to fine tune it. I know I don't know you like everybody else at 2O2P, and I hope I didn't over step here.

Our appearance is merely a perception. True happiness lies elsewhere. It's not what they burn into our brains to believe and to think, but what we know deep in our hearts that is the only truth.
