Croup: how crap-tacular

Croup????? My daughter was fine flying , but of course she is lil over three. Most children are fine, but have to be looked after. Bring toys and things for them to do.

Croup?? bring something for her to suck on, anything she likes. It will help regulate the pressure in her ears. When they start crying, it's most likley the pressure in their ears building up. Here's to a safe and nice trip.

croup! She will breath better while having an attack if you turn the shower on and take her into the bathroom. The steam helps. Flying? The above suggestions....

Croup is nasty---and YES it can get bad. I've spent 5 days in Hospital with my (then) 3yr old in an O2 tent and breathing treatments every 2 hrs. The shower does work, but taking the child OUTSIDE in the cool air works even better. Never ever take a chance, take her to the E.R when you feel scared. Usually croup is worse at night---kids usually act totally normal/fine during the day.

not as funny as watching a terrified 8-yr-old try to land a plane! now THAT'S funny!!!!!

kids basically shouldn't be flying at all. it takes years of experience to properly handle a plane, especially in less-than-adequate weather condtions. sorry, but i insist my pilot be at LEAST 15.
