Anyway: point being there was money riding on this. And in university, no one was rich. Except for the cheater.

So, people start to notice that the cheater is doing well. I mean REALLY well. His "good" stats are sky high, but so are the "bad" stats (errors for instance). So they look into it.  On a 9 team roster, the cheater ( who was also in charge: don't ask) had 12 players. A full 1/4 more than anyone else, all racking up points for him.  Of course he's winning!  They eventually got things settled, but boy were people pissed off.

The thing is: if he had added only 1 extra: no one would notice. And why would you cheat your buddies? It wasn't the money: he was loaded.

Anyone else seen this sort of cheating?  The question is: do cheaters prosper?? Do you think that cheating has it's place? What if everyone else is doing it?

Sorry for the double post (I hate seeing people post more than once a day too).  Forgive me!

Hey buddy, Came over to your blog to respond to the comment you made about trusting Wikipedia to be a reliable resource website on Native Americans. Have you glanced at the website? See all the sources and references? I think I could trust that there are Native scholars watching this thing and hoping to improve or elaborate on it whenever possible. If my people didn't like an amendment or addition, I think the response would be swift. It's a little more serious of a topic than reviewing a band's latest cd or talking about religion or politics. This is an area where we're just concerned with the facts. Who can argue what really happened? Thanks for your input. See you on-line sometime!

I was hoping you wouldn't leave us hanging. Personally, I don't believe in cheating. I don't even have cheat codes for the games I play. I do go through the forums and see if anyone else is having difficulty and how they got past it, but is that cheating? As far as athletes, I feel as if they consider themselves entitled to the steroids because they can't compete with the others. Well, if you can't compete on the same level with the others, then you don't need to be competing and should have finished that degree in college!

About college, if you cheat, what good will it do in the end? You'll have a degree and nothing to back it up with. Has cheating really helped Barry Bonds? The whole world hates him, and even if he does break the record, people will know he cheated-the moral * Oh, and Devonsangel hits me up for cheat codes all the time. up up down down circle square triangle
