How is Puzzle Quest Galactrix a necessity?
Crap. It isn't. I can't jsutify it. I almost DL'd it, but I don't have enough points. I would have bought it without thinking about it. Interesting how that works, eh? All on the sudden once I need points... I stopped myself. Okay it was only affter I was denied buying points with the expired credit card that was already in the system did I stop myself. Honestly, this is going to be tough, mostly because we unconciously buy little things all the time.
One of the things that got me thinking about my own consumerism was when I got the tires changed on my car. I was at Canadian Tire (kinda like a Home Depot, but different for you Non Canadians) when I thought, "Okay I am here, may as well look around, see if there is anything we need." Guess what. We don't need anything. But why even look if you need nothing. It's the "gatherer" nature in women. Better just look around. Maybe there are some nice ripe berries to take back to the family.Maybe there are some nice nuts or whatever. Men... when you go shopping, it's to make a kill. "Go, find the stuff on my list, bring it back." It's a better way sometimes.
So, ya. Trying to not buy stuff is going to be hard Not when I am thinking, but when I'm not.
