I just realised that the last blog posting is actually a dupplicate. I posted parts of that editorial like DAYS before. DUH!

But on to real life. Sean and Erica made it safe to Toronto, they are having a fun time with his folks: she is eating avacado and eggs as we speak. She actually threw her little arms around my neck and said "I love you, Mommy" yesterday. Wow! There is just no bigger blessing.  I am so fortunate.

So, now that they are gone I have the house to myself. Yesteray and today I did one ofmy favorite things, aside from gaming. I went to a bar, and had lunch at the bar and read the paper. Will do that as soon as this blog is posted. I dunno: I love jsut chatting with people around the bar, and having a good meal. So yesterday I had a bit of a sinful lunch. I had a cheeseburger with a poutine instead of fries. What is a poutine you ask?  It's fries, gravy... and cheese cruds! YUMMY! Totally a Quebec thing.  I am seriously surprised it isn't all over the good old US of A yet. I loves you guys, but in every menu it seems that you can put cheese sauce on anything.  But wait.... how is THAT bad?

But I think that fries are really just a carrier for other things. Salt #1, vinegar (salt the fried, then vinegar, then more salt: that's jsut how it's done). Ketchup I suppose. Chili. Tomato sauce...  peanut butter. (well not yet, but I am sure someone has tried it). I like mayo on my fries. But what about you guys: What is your fry recipe?

(oh: honey from McDonalds on McD's fries... yummers!)

Potatoes cut into wedges, seasoned with salt and pepper and baked until soft on the inside, crispy on the outside. Cover with Sharp Cheddar cheese and continue baking until melted and gooey....salt again and eat! Yummy!!! Can't eat those very often at all....all that cheese is fattening, lol...and I don't need any more help in that area.

You should go buy something....lol come to think of it I need some new cute flip flops. = ) And I don't mind the repost, it helps me catch up on the blogs. Most of the time I'm so busy I can't read all the blogs & forums like I want to. So it helps. So repost all you want. Now on to the best part....Food! I'm a purest when it comes to my fries, just a little salt & pepper. When I want to be really bad, Mayo as a dip....mmmmmm!!! Love home fires, and home made potato chips. Oh who am I kidding, I love all things crispy when it comes to potatoes....lol Have fun with your "Favorite" things.

@Durty: you got the fundamentals of the essential fry recipe: Salt... add condiment, salt again. Hey: We should write a 2o2play cookbook just based on fries!

Fries (with skin on) from a chipwagon, melted butter and garlic salt. Or garlic salt and malt vinegar.

I like things simple. Shoestring or waffle fries with just salt and ketchup. Don't mess with perfection!
