But I may have an unusual couple gaming history. See: when my husband and I first met, he was the "gamer" although he never would have self identified as such. He played lots of Techmo Football, and NHL 98 with "tha boys". I like the odd PC RPG but a console controller was ... not my thing.
Long story short: we flipped. Gaming is now my hobby of choice, my passion... and the man does other things. (Reading, writing! bah... what a GEEK!) Now he may want back in. This is the first time we have ever gamed "together " where I am better, more knowledgeable. I note that he is a "role player" as oppsed to a "power gamer". He chooses skills that he will enjoy using even if the stats don't "match up" properly. I have to remember to be quiet and let him discover the game on his own, rather than tell him what to do and where to go. Let's see how this works out. I think it's going to be fun.
What else? They put all internet radio behind the firewall... no XMradio, no local radio, no on line music what so ever. WTF? Want me to buy a radio and blast it so my neighbours can hear? MWa-har-har-har! I imagine it's a bandwidth thing, but day-um... it's 2009... give me my internet radio for my cubicle job!
