M for Mature... Finally

Fallout 3: a mature game that is quite... mature.

It's not the violence that makes it a rated M game (although there is lots of blood and gore) it's the themes. Refreshing!  Yes, blood n violence makes a game rated M, but it doens't make it a mature game. Fallout 3 blew my mind with how adult the themes are. Good people get shot in the back based on your actions, and when you loot the body: no one even bats an eye. People are despirate and drug addicted.  Women sell their bodies for security.  People are hungy, lonely and cling to the tiniest bit of hope. And I haven't  accomplished anything in the game.

If people see more games like this, they will stop thinking of games as stupid kiddie fare.

Mind you they may be disturbed byt he ghouls and raiders. So maybe we should keep this one a secret for us cool kids, no?

I'd wondered how this game is. You make it sound like it's really hardcore.

Way to make this game sound good. Might have to go rent it again after I bring back the rental from fable 2.
