I bought MUA yesterday... no wait.. Friday? Anyway: ATC and I played a bit. I suvk at coop games becasue I get confused as to who is who. So be warned if anyone wants to play with me!

But I already had this game on the PSP, it's odd playing it on the big screen: you see some problems with the graphics which I wasn't expecting. Theya re a bit jagged: like a small picture was blown up. No biggie though: it's still a great, great game. But this is my second game I bought on 2 platforms. The other one is puzzle quest:: it's what I play in bed. Same exact game as on the 360.  So: have you guys bought a game for two different systems? Which did you prefer and why?

I prefer MUA on the 360 for 2 reasons: DLC and I can play on line.  Puzzlequest: on the PSP, cause it;s the perfect game for a handheld, and it's perfect right before bed. Engaging, but not enough that I am all riled up before bed.

That is all: Tomorrow is my first day of work, so I SUPPOSE in a way it's my last day of Mat leave. DAY-UM!

Now: here's what I need all of you to do. PM seanm here at 202play. He is my husband. Tell him that I need an iphone or a blackberry: somthing like that with major internet capabilities so that I can stay in touch with 2o2play when I am at work. cause as you guys know, I can't access any gaming site at work. See any major purchases like this really go through both of us. A lesser person would have jsut bought it today. BUT since I am a mature, fantastic wife (you guys can even mention this in the PM) I won't go forward unless it's a unanimous decision. Thank you.

Thanks for the feedback everyone. Maybe I'll give her my iTouch for a few days and she can see if there are any non-work wifi networks nearby. If so, we could get her a laptop and she could check in during breaks or lunch.

Hey cat, he hasn't signed in since April it said. I don't think a PM would help. Just use some of your.... you know, girlie attributes. If that don't work, then a PMS rage should. At least it does at my house. :)

I'm here... thanks for the PMs everyone. The problem is that if you get something that connects to wireless (like an iTouch or a laptop), you'd be connecting to a network that would probably have all the same restrictions. Unless there was a separate network available, or your IT guys are asleep at the wheel, you wouldn't be solving the problem. And if you get an iPhone or blackberry or something with its own network, its probably going to be a.) really slow, and b.) pretty expensive on a monthly basis for the data plan. Anyone with an iphone want to comment on the speed? The easiest thing to do might be to set up an RSS feed with links to all the 2old2play blogs and other content. I don't think that would be screened out by the network restrictions (I could be wrong). You wouldn't be able to post or comment, but at least you could stay in the loop during the day. Anyone else have any ideas?

other ideas could be have a soure like tank deticated e-mail's just for game related information to sean and heve him fwd the information. Data plan or not I have seen blackberrys use this more frequently than I phones. not sure of the networking off restrictions, but there should not be any. As you stated RSS would be the best option as I have to do it everynow and then at work.

I use my cell phone in parking lots when I'm bored. Not sure the cost of the plan.......cause it's a company plan. I would say to get limited internet though. MJ

Sean: You're right. Connecting over WiFi at JCat's work is going to be subject to the same restrictions. Connecting an iPhone to the internet over AT&T will not have the restrictions. IT also won't be slow, the new one connects over 3G, now it's not DSL fast but it's still pretty darn respectable. Sprint actually has/had the fastest network, it gives you 1 meg download, i have hteir laptop wireless connect card. That's another option maybe, both At&t and Sprint offer USB modems for laptops and you can get on their cellular data networks with them and again, this would bypass the work restrictions. She could even plug it into her desktop PC at work and bypass the work restrictions . You may have to do a custom routing table but tthat's nothing but a command line command. I'm not sure what the pricing is. I know with the iPhone 3G, they lowered the hardware cost but increased the data connection cost. So overall you pay more over 2 years for the 3G iphone than the old iphone but the old iphone's datanetwork was pathetically slow, it's the reason i switched to sprint in the first place. But you might want to look into those cellular data cards... it might be the cheaper way to go. Doing an RSS feed is also fairly limited, you can't RSS everything and i don't belive you can post back. So it's really restrictive in itself.

Tank: you really don't want to get caught using a celluar data card in your work pc to bypass the corp firewalls. That's a firein'. jcat: I'd look into using SSH to VNC into your home desktop. Easy enough to setup and it is unlikely that the SSH port is blocked.
