Shared on Thu, 02/19/2009 - 10:53Yep, Mr. President is in Ottawa, Ontario for his first international visit and it's all kinda wacky here. People were waiting on Parliament Hill since 8:00AM even though a) it's snowing and b) you still won't see him. No speeches, no photo ops nothing. Why would you do that to yourself? I really don't get the people who came in from other cities. If you are protesting something: okay that's cool. But to wait outside to not see someone? Those people are going to be so dissappointed.
The motorcade did just did pass by: not on the street below, but on an overpass about a kilometer away. Helicopter, ambulances, a couple of dozen cars. No idea which one is him. I wonder if there is a sniper on my building's roof? YUMMY!
