Shared on Tue, 02/03/2009 - 20:44I am loving the hot power yoga so much that I am finding the drive to get in shape again. Not that I was getting to be a tub of goo, but motivation is a good thing. So new goal: weigh significantly less (10 lbs) by the time I finish my new project at work. That's gonna be 10 lbs in about 6-8months. Yes, totally 100% doable. Like seriously doable. Just gotta stick with it.
One thing I have noticed though. You want ot have a decent lunch you pay through the damn nose! Salad at he salad bar, humus and pita (with veggies) platter make for a tasty and super healthy lunch, right? Well, that was over $10. Chicken Fingers and Fries? Under $5. Same goes for breakfast too. Considering I like Starbucks coffee at over $2 a pop and yikes I go through the cash. Cost of doing business I suppose. Too lazy to make my own lunch, and I'm a coffee snot. Well, the coffee snot is not true. I jsut usually have my coffee half decaf, and most decaf coffee tastes like mung. Starbucks is the exception. And yes, even Timmies decaf is mung like. (the Canadians of hte crowd will understand...)
So, in the next 6-8 months I want to learn lots on this new project. I want to get healthier, stronger more flexible. Someone ping me in 6-8 months and ask for a progress report.
