But Thanksgiving is one of those holidays that has lost a bit of its meaning. Do we really give thanks on thanksgiving anymore, or is is an excuse to eat turkey (note blog title).
I am so thankful, every day I am in amazement of all the riches I have and I thank God for it. I probably don't do that enough. I have a fantastic family, my baby girl is happy and healthy. She's fun to be with, my husband brings me joy. My work is great: I am blessed to be able to take a year paid in order to take care of my family. I can also take an extra 6 months off too.
You know: No matter how much is in our bank accounts: we are rich people. Every single one of us on this site has enough money to game, and get on the internet: we are so well off compared to 90% of the world's population. We have education, we live in countries that value freedom and justice. So: this is just a reminder to look around and value what we have.
And eat some turkey.
On a gaming note: I played my first bit of real multiplayer on aFPS. I may write something on it, sort of like the piece I wrote about my first FPS experience. Should I, or should I quit while I'm ahead?
