My sister in law bought me some lululemon pants (fancy-schmancy yoga pants) and they are a ... size 8! This vanity sizing thing has gotten officially out of hand. Now for all of you out there who don't know what I am talking about, vanity sizing is when designers keep making the sizes larger and larger As we age, and naturally get bigger: yet we magically stay the same dress size.
Now, I love me. I love how I look (most of the time). But I am not a size 8. I was a size 10 ish in high school... and I am NOT smaller than I was in high school. ALTHOUGH I did keep a pair of jean shorts and I can fit into them. yes: they are tight and unwearable outside, but I can do them up. And after a baby... that says something. But really... size 8? I have 2 Gap sweathers that are a small. And I am NO small. My jeans from there are a size 8. no. that is just wrong. It's just getting to be too much; it's too unbelieveable now. I could believe that I am a size 10 and a medium. But not a 8 and a small.
Other than that: Sean and I have the week off and we are spending it with Erica! We went out for a ride in her new wagon (big red Radio Flyer from my folks) and maybe tomorrow we will go to the Experimental Farm. Yep: Ottawa has a farm right in the middle of the city. Great for the kiddos... and only 10 minute drive away
