so far so good. Got a lentil casserole on for tonight, we had veggie pizza last night. But I gotta say: I was going to give Erica a bit of veggie "burger" that I bought... then I tasted a bit. It's not bad... but veggie-folks: For the love of all things holy stop marketting fake food. It doesn't taste like a real burger. The texture is different, the taste is different... it's not close. Maybe to a vegetarian it's the same: but to falk like me it's gross. You promised me a burger and you didn't come close to delivering. Call it something else. Same goes for veggie dogs.

That's it. Gonna play Halo witht he Ladies tonight.... which means it's going to be me and... maybe one other person on tonight. It's just how we ROLL! No complaints at all... TheCabal is full of women who are already gamers in their own right, with their own clans and own gaming styles. It's a different beast. I love it!

I did that for a couple months but now i'm back to eating meat though i try and minimize the amount of red meat i eat a week i eat lots of chicken and fish. ANyway there's lots of vegetarian substitutes out there. Being vegetarian and being vegan are different though, being vegetarian is the 'easy' one. Being vegan is absolutely no animal products. So no dairy like milk, eggs and cheese, no meat including fish and chicken... that's the hard road to take. I can do vegetarian at short goes but no way could i ever go vegan.

Yay for giving it a shot, J-Cat! But I disagree about the veggie products - I like them because it just offers me something else to eat. Last week I went through a fakin (fake bacon), lettuce, and tomato phase - I LOVED the sandwich - I do not remember what real bacon tastes like, but I am not looking for something to taste like meat...I just like the options. Veggie dogs? Yuck, but I never liked real hot dogs anyway. If I ever won the lottery, I would hire a personal chef and go totally vegan - but as it stands now, I still eat cheese. Good luck with it and maybe enjoy some meals you may otherwise have passed up! :)
