Shared on Mon, 01/12/2009 - 18:15My own wo derful 2old4 BS is currently recruiting. Lux did a great job of crystalizing what 2old4BS is about: laid back, bit un-PC, but we don't like assholes either (we've had more than enough of our share), But in a recruiting drive, it's always a gamble: pick a jerk, and you upset the chemistry of the group. Actually, it doesn't even have to be a jerk: just someone who doesn't fit in. It's a relationship. The clan member must click with the clan, and the clan must click with the member. If it doesn't work on one side, then it's a no go. This in itself is not a bad thing, as long as everyone treats it in an adult manner and just moves along.
But this got me thinking: why do you game with the clan that you do? What is it about them that makes you want to continue gaming with them? 2old4BS (and 2old2Remember) are what I need: open, funny, laid back but still willing to treat the bulletsponge like a valued member. Lots of private matches unless someone needs to rank up: perfection. And the clan leaders tend to get drunk and send out pictures... and videos. of themselves. singing. singing 80s music.
um... on second thought: any clans out there looking for a JayCat? (j/k of course)
