Shared on Sat, 08/18/2007 - 20:17I'm sitting here watching football that i don't care about. I only really love Packer games! As a misplaced fan in AL I don't get many games.
My Xbox is fixed but after the last time I'm wondering for how long. So I can start playing Star Wars again and some R6V. I can't wait to start shooting people in the face again. Don't get it twisted I'm not very good but I do get to shoot people. I think I'll order by copy of Halo3 tonight. I'm going to put my Xbox on it's side now and see how it does, I may buy a fan but who knows. The Bungie Podcasts have been getting me so excited about Halo3. I want it now!!! I think I'm too picky about games. I didn't used to be but I am now. Shadow Run = who cares, Bioshock = could care less, Darkness = you can keep it. I'm excited about Halo3, COD4, and GTA. I know, I know go get the rope.
Anyone that has read my blogs know I love paintball. I stopped by the local store and saw the owner, who I havn't seen since I quit playing. Much to my surprise he was understanding and happy to see me. I saw some old friends and some i never liked to begin with. I did get many offers to play and even a possibility to be a coach for a team one of my close Paintball friends is on. If I get to do it it will mean I get to go to world cup in FL again. World Cup is THE place to be in the paintball world. It's the last tourney of the season and you get to meet so many big names in paintball. I'm pretty stoked actually I hope I get the nod from the team captain. My wife is pretty happy about it too, because it will get me out of the house. For about the last 14 years, off and on, paintball has been a huge part of my life. So maybe I'll get the spot.
I was just on Digg and normally most thing don't bother me but there is an article there that does. It is a link to a teenage girl getting stoned to death, or as Kevin Smith says "bludgeoned to death with big fuckin rocks!" I think it's sad that there are places in the world that do that. I can understand if someone rapes someone cut their balls off and in this country if someone disrespects you throw them a beating but tossing big rocks at a girl for disrespecting your beliefs that is just the wrong answer. There is one thing I've always said about the wars fought outside our borders "If people can't stand up for themselves some one else needs to." It is something that is hard to do even here in the states but sometimes you have to help those that can't help themselves. There are girls this age in the states that worry about not having the right phone but they don't have to worry about getting stoned to death.
