Spinach Tortelinni

Ahh, another weekend come & gone with fun stuff to report.

I've been getting a lot of messages regarding my Lt. Dangle costume..

Jane from Illinois writes, "OMFG I love your shorts!! Will you be selling those on eBay??"

and Jessyca from the Moon says, "You must've really been working on that farmer's tan ALL YEAR! What Halloween dedication!"

and of course I can't forget Dave from SoCal, "Dangle, you give me chubbies galore! Have my man babies pleeeeeeease!!"

So.
As you know I'm a rather modest fellow & I just want to say thank you for the love & I apologize to the 99% of everyone else who saw my Casper-esk thighs & later couldn't sleep due to disturbing nightmares.

Oh yea, I should get to the point of the 'blog subject'.
Mmmm, I made a good dinner tonight of spinach tortelinna in a garlic & basil sauce.. cheesy bread & some Pinot.
Not to say that I'm always making "Everyday Italian-style" meals for myself but on Sundays I like to go out for breakfast & make dinner at the house.

Talked to an old friend of mine today (Alyse), and it's probably been a good ten years since we'd last had any sort of conversation.. lives just went seperate & you know how time flies..
Well, she goes on to mention that wayyyyy back in the day, I would perform Dr. Seuss stories for people (so theatrical) and listen to a lot of Tori Amos (I was playing piano & thought she was amazing).
I ventured over to Alyse's myspace & sure enough, she had a jukebox thingy going with some of the old Tori songs I hadn't heard in years.. brought back some nice thoughts.
We joked about a couple things.. wished we had remained in touch & talked of far-fetched plans of seeing Dave Matthews together in Florida one day.

Oh! Another new thing this week... I joined a running club! Well... I actually joined a couple weeks back but with the smoke from the fires still clogging up the fresh air, all runs had been cancelled.
Long story short, I ran with then for the first time on Thursday & loved it!
I met 5 of the other runners & they gave me a warm welcome.. We all ran & talked through Cortez Hill and down through Balboa Park to the fountain & back.. was great. Can't wait to do it again next Tuesday.

Last thing: The plan for New Years

My family & friends would like me to go to Vegas & see them again so I'm thinking I may just do that.. The only question is then....not where to stay...not how much money to bring...not which toothbrush to pack...but will I have a lady to kiss at midnight on New Years?!
Being single has been fun & wild but I'm definitely a romantic & with the holidays & winter coming up, I'd like to keep my hands warm by holding someone elses..

Hmmm... we'll see.
