Day 13! Don't google Chantix

Yeah, I had dropped my dose in half, and was managing my cravings pretty well, so I decided to google Chantix.  Not a good idea.  This is one scary drug.  I am starting to think that a prerequisite for taking it should be that you have previously taken hallucinogenic drugs recreationally, just so know how to handle the heebygeebys when they pop up.  I hardly notice them, but the day time blips and anxiety is there.  I simply recognize it as being a side effect of BEING ON DRUGS.  Prescription or not, drugs mess with your head.

After reading some horror stories of Night Terrors, and the hilarity of planning your suicide on the hour every hour, I found some good info that suggested you taper off the drug... and wait at least a month or so into treatment before you do that.

Still smoke free, still dedicated to quit.  Beginning to remember life before I started again.  Actually felt like running this morning when the sun started peeping through our bedroom window.  lol  I haven't had that feeling in a long time.

My office has converted to Blackberrys (Tara... teach me the patience for this!).  I activated and set them all up yesterday.  Today these large construction guys are doing their best to check in with their big giant thumbs twiddling on little tiny keys.  This is my first email interaction of the day....

Email from Andy:  no body to it, only this as the subject " I m @ bmf this am" - translation "I am at the Bus Maintenance Facility this morning"

okay.. not too bad... but I still wanna poke him a bit about it.

My reply: wow.. your typing skills are amazing!  lol

Andy's reply: R u mokg m yng lady  - translation "Are you mocking me young lady?"

My reply: Heck yes I am, you have gone full retard!  Welcome to the world of 1337 Where you mangle the English language for the sake of quick messaging.  But seriously, you really need to work on that.

Andy's reply: U 10 4 - translation - I'm not totally sure.... captial U.. maybe like YOU... 10-4 is obviously confirming or agreeing.  lol

More fun with Soldier speak.

My husband has introduced me to all sorts of interesting Solider speak that we have intergrated into our daily life.  WTF has become WTF, over.  My neighbors?  Those are Whiskey Tangos (White Trash).  When we are getting ready to leave... it's Oscar Mike (On the Move).  If we are in the middle of something... and ready to resume.. it's Charlie Mike (Continue Mission).  The kids like it too.  :)

Had one thrown at me at the LAN I attended... We were trying to meet up and figure out what to do that night.  He texted this "Let's Charlie Mike, link up, and Foxtrot Sierra Uniform."

I got two outta three... the last one was easy, now that I know it.  :)

Someone asked me what these lines are in my blog.  Lightsabers and tampons.  You had to ask didn't you.  ;)

we use the term "Oh Dark Thirty" to describe when you have to get up really early. Pilots inthe Canadian Military use that term... or they did ages ago when Daddy was in the service

Hey, Jeepie - after I googled Chantix, I decided right off the bat to NOT go to the full dose. I am on the .5 dose twice a day...and it is working for me! :) My last smoke was Sunday night at 8:30 pm. I think I may actually be able to do this....My dreams are the same...vivid as ever. My whole life I have experienced crazy dreams...So no problems there... Stick with it, girl!

@ J-Cat: I didn't know your dad was a Hockey Player! @ Gee-Pee: Maybe the sudden urge to run in the AM is do to the Night Terrors?

Jeep.. All drugs have side effects. Even Tylenol has some weird side effects listed. That Chernobyl site is cool. I read that a few years back before the first time I went to Ukraine.

And BTW, if you look at those pictures you can see where COD 4 ripped off some of their buildings/ maps from.
