Day 9- 21 Coulda Woulda Shoulda

If I hadn't had that relapse I would be 30 days no smoking today.  DAMMIT.

There are things in life that I get really peeved about because they are common sense and people should know them.  Their parents SHOULD have taught them, told them.  But they didn't.  For whatever reason, these basics weren't shared.  Here is one that usually doesn't have to be said: Do not Try to Tell Other People How to Raise Their Kids. 

You can be generic all day long, and lament about the lack of good parenting in this nation.  But do not personalize it, and for your own sake do not suggest that someone is abusing their children.  It's not funny, it's not witty, it is not appropriate.  There is no amount of smilies that can turn that into a joke.  There is no amount of reasoning that will make that kind of declaration okay. 

Add it to the list of hot topics (politics, religion, sex) and make a note that this one will anger a Mamma Bear faster than any other.  ;)

Another "Party Like a GameStar" weekend coming up for me.  This will be three weekends in a row!  This time I am headed down to Augusta, GA.  Just for Sat night, but upon my return I will be hosting a room for the ECA Sunday evening.
