Puppy...Puppies...Menagerie!

Chewie popped out some puppies this weekend.  We didn't expect them so soon.  She's a small dog, couldn't really tell she was preggo though.  She had two that lived, and a third that just didn't make it.  I know he was the last one born - and he was much larger than the other two - but I don't know how he died.  The other two are white and blonde.  She hasn't let me get any pics of them yet.  They are so tiny and precious.

This brings our animal tally to 8.  6 dogs and 2 cats.  I've already put aside money to fix Chewie at the first of next year.  The cats will be after that.  Thank goodness all the animals have been getting along really well.  We will have to see how these pups fit into the mix.

Damn it feels good to be a Crew Chief!  :)  My husband is halfway through a two week stint with the guard.  He comes home every night - tired as hell - but is getting to apply all that schooling he picked up in Virginia.  Talking about a becoming a pilot still.

I read this book on Sunday.  Amazing story.  Great character.  Vivid storyline and excellent transistions from past to present.  If you haven't read it, pick it up.  It's about a college guy that has a major blow to his world and how he fares when he accidentally joins the Circus.
