I really didn't as I have GH (original game) for the PS2 since shortly after christmas of 2005 and hardly played it. My hands kept cramping up and so I couldn't play long. Think the guitar was the issue more than the game. I don't find myself having the same issue as quickly with the 360 controller. That isn't to say, my hands haven't gotten tired. They have...
I have managed to get 3 songs completed 100% on easy mode. I have managed to get about halfway thru the medium songs (tho only 1 of them got better than 3 stars). Finally got to play Sweet Child O' Mine which is one reason I wanted this game. It was not easy but I did manage to eek out 3 stars and not fail the song. That's not bad I guess.
I have also found that I cannot play this game sitting down. I have tried and it fouls my timing up. I end up standing up. I know I have gotten strange looks from some of our friends who have been over and wandered into the house to use the bathroom and have seen me playing the game. I'm sure it does look odd. LOL
We ended up going to the Hockey game as planned. Met three of my fellow grad students and their BF's. The Ice Dogs even won (7-5) tho the game was meaningless for both teams (the other team had locked up a playoff spot quite some time ago and doubt they felt the urgent need to win the game). We got home from the game and watched the DVD Casino Royale, which I also got for my birthday. This is by far my favorite Bond film. I don't think I have cared for one since I was a kid and saw The Spy Who Loved Me with Roger Moore. I hear Pierce Brosnan was pretty good but I had lost interest in the series by the time he took over the part. It wasn't until I saw the trailer for Casino Royale that I became intrigued. Then I heard what things were different about this movie compared to some of the others. Of course it didn't hurt that Daniel Craig is very sexy (IMO). I had not realized I had seen him in another movie where he showed some skin (Tomb Raider). I knew he was in Road to Perdition and that movie didn't make him look that good. He was in Munich but I didn't see that until recently. I saw Casino Royale in theater twice. Once alone and the 2nd time I made my husband go too. He liked it but not for all the reasons I did. :)
