It's been a week

    Well, it's been a week since my newest son was born, and I can say that things are going really well. My eldest son has really come around to the big, protective brother role, always helping around the house, getting burp rags and diapers, things like that. I'm really proud of him. Baby Henry is healthy, sleeps for long periods of time, and has already started to control his neck movements. The wife is doing well, save for a few headaches, and had her c-section staples removed yesterday without incident. I've been tring to allow her to get more sleep, but she's trying to breast feed, so that hasn't been easy until now, when she's been able to pump out a supply for me to use to feed the baby.
    Last night was the first time I was able to use this supply and give the wife an opportunity to get a longer sleep in. Unfortunately, this opportunity sprouted up right after I had begun a GSN NHL tournament game against Drk_knight01. Luckily, he was very understanding and paused the game after my pause had expired. I was a 'bad' dad for a bit there, trying to get the puck on net while my son cried, but I managed to change a diaper in between periods while the bottle warmed up, then played the next two periods (even managing to get a goal) while feeding him, and played the ot while burping him.
    That wasn't the only time my game-playing time has been interrupted, so I'd like to apologize to all the guys in 2old2pwn that I had to abandon the other day while playing the Halo 3 beta.
    Even with all of the gaming interruptions, I love my family very much, and they always come first.
