GungalTM of the Day
My Sweet Gal and I had a hectic day yesterday, as we started the day off with a telephone vigil to see if training was on for the day. As luck would have it, just as we relaxed our guard and thought the call wouldn't come, it did. We then had to scramble to get things done. Afterward, we had a cap repair appointment that, unfortunately, wound up requiring a part on order. After all that rigamarole, we ran a series of minor errands, and coped with a few dinner-making catastrophes before winding the evening up. Still and all, it was wonderful because we were together, and nothing puts a smile on my face quicker than to be with my honey!! We laughed through it all, and that made everything better!!
Not much on the personal gaming front, but huge news in Call of Duty, as Robert 'fourzerotwo' Bowling has tweeted that he has resigned his position with Infinity Ward and Activision. I've omitted the 'Me, too!' news links on it, since at the time of this update, nothing beyond the original tweet has surfaced, but it's a pretty rocking story, for sure. Tons of speculations blew through my mind about what it meant: Maybe another CoD old-timer had a blowout with Activision... Maybe there was another career opportunity (Respawn Entertainment probably occurred to most of us)... But one thing is certain: Call of Duty is likely to change due to this, and it's not entirely certain it's for the better. Moving on...
