Finally... Friday!

 

    Spoke with Mom again today; they had her doing more physical therapy today. She still isn't able to support her own weight or walk. They're going to put her in sneakers tomorrow so that she has more traction. She said her feet were sliding in the socks they gave her to wear, despite the rubbery traction things on the soles. 

    At lunch last night, I enjoyed an Argyle Robusto cigar. It's a very mild smoke; I prefer the Robusto size for a lunch break smoke, since it fits in well with the short hour I have to smoke it. Argyle cigars are also available on Holts.com in multiple lengths/ring gauges. Tho I don't believe I'll be springing for any more premiums for a while, the Argyles are modestly priced.     Looks like Treyarch has dodged one possible bullet by ensuring that the PC version of Black Ops will have mod tools. It may be an after-thought, since the mod tools are to be post-release, not out of the box, but the PC crowd that originally popularized the Call of Duty franchise wasn't going to stand for another emasculated PC CoD game.
    Today's featured Modern Warfare 2 vid is DubbleJord opening the floodgates of hate with his camptastic 'How to Go Flawless' video. The second vid is an amazing Doom mod that is a total ripoff of homage to Modern Warfare 2. It's astonishing how good that looks, tho it might just be my failing eyesight. Moving on...
