    As this auto-posts on the HQ, the 2nd work night is over, and I've headed back to my humble Albany digs. I'll crawl into the sack and text my Sweet Wife good night before I drift off into the Land of Nod. Just two more nights, and my beloved Effie and I will be holding each other tight again!! Effie, I love you, baby!! I'll be home on Sunday!

      I played a bit of Unreal Tournament 2K4 and Unreal Tournament on my laptop after chatting with my beloved wife over Skype yesterday. I was a bit perplexed that a Direct3D driver issue kept me from playing 2K4 on the HDMI connection to my HDTV. The older game played just fine on the HDTV, tho. I've kept the bots on 'Novice', BTW. No sense abusing myself just yet, lol. I'll ramp things up slowly to higher skill levels. In my 'youth', I played instagib at 150% speed on UT with the bots set to a pretty high custom level. Not expecting that level of prowess ever again, but it's kinda fun to play a purer form of deathmatch again. Moving on...
