Spoke with Mom for a bit today. She's continuing to show steady progress with more standing and a bit of shuffling back and forth today. The prospective release date for Mom is 22 September; the Bath-Fitter folks are scheduled to come in on 21 September, I believe, to put in a shower stall in place of the current bathtub. It's going to be a tight schedule.
It's a Call of Duty: Black Ops day today... A lotta YouTube links with gamer perspectives on what Black Ops multiplayer will be like. In the meantime, I'm scheduled to do some gaming tomorrow night. Matt64 is coming over, and we're going to do some FPSing. Right now, I'm inclined to do some World at War co-op, but I might give the newly patched Blacklight: Tango Down another spin, too.
Today's featured Call of Duty: Black Ops (Yes, it's teh awesome to be able to write that!) vid is Part 1 of 3 of actual Black Ops multiplayer gameplay and commentary by Hutch. Hutch was given a couple of hours to test-drive the current build of Black Ops multiplayer. The YouTube links to Parts 2 and 3 are below the vid. Also included today is Woody's kinda sketchy analysis of the Black Ops killstreaks and perks. Still a lot of info lacking, but with the prospect of a beta still in play, we might all get a chance to try it out ourselves! Fingers crossed and moving on...
