• GamerCrave has leveling up tips for Modern Warfare 2 newbs. That's better than n00b tips, I guess.
• The recent title update for MW2 appears to have some problems, according to this Examiner article and this other Examiner article.
• Proof of MW2's popularity is this article, indicating bookies in Ireland are paying out pre-emptively on the bet that Modern Warfare 2 would be the most popular title for the Holidays. Reggie Fils-Aime, head honcho at Nintendo, had maintained that the new Mario game would outsell MW2, but this looks pretty unlikely. No word on whether he had any bets in with the Irish bookies.
• Humor: Kid exults after getting a nuke on MW2.

• New trailer for Mass Effect 2, courtesy of Blue's new YouTube channel. There's a lot of great voice talent on display in the vid, so it's well worth watching.
• Aliens vs. Predator: Kotaku on playing as an alien.
  
• PicoP FPS projector. It projects the FPS FOV on a wall or screen. From the vid, it looks like it's mounted on a faux assault rifle. You move the rifle, and the projection and your FOV move. I'm thinking, no.
• The New York Times recently had its list of kid-unfriendly games, games with possibly excessive violence or sexual content. A lot of gamer sites are touting the list as a spiffy gift-guide for the normal gamer.
• Joystiq's best web comic: Assassin's Edge. Now, that's a comic that makes me glad I didn't get Mirror's Edge.
