Let the Healing begin...

Slept pretty well last night, considering. My leg continues to slowly improve. It still seems to swell up if I fail to keep it elevated, tho. The doctor said that would happen as long as the infection was still active. I'm keeping a close eye on it.
Today, the Modern Warfare 2 'Resurgence' pack goes on sale on Xbox Live. I'm still meh about the whole thing. Watching the gameplay vids this AM, especially the 2Old2Play member vids which will be linked later this week, kinda made me want to play. It looked like they had a full crew of communicating, cooperating players. Watching them kick ass made me want to play again. The logistics of organizing gaming with a regular crew, especially now that I'm working every other weekend, throws cold water on the idea, tho. Plus, I'm not even liking MW2 that much lately. I haven't played it in weeks. I've started re-liking World at War. And I'm not alone, as this 2Old2Play Call of Duty forum thread poll shows. Tho CoD4 is still the favorite for the 2O2P crew participating in the poll, it still feels hobbled by many flaws which were never fixed by Infinity Ward. Just the fact that a team-killing douchebag can run unchecked in CoD4 is a huge negative for me. And, of course, that problem carried right over into Modern Warfare 2 for some reason. (Why, IW, why?) Guess the IW guys couldn't or wouldn't integrate the 'three strikes' rule that seems to work pretty well in World at War. Ah, well. Maybe Black OPs will be both popular and well made...
