Today is yet another anniversary: It was twenty five years ago today (a quarter century!) that I enlisted in the US Army. On Friday, 13 September 1985, I took the enlistment oath for the second and final time in Fort Benning, GA, graduating from infantry school some 90 days later on Friday, 13 December 1985. Amazing that so many years have gone by, seemingly so quickly... Tonight, I'll be watching the Jets. (Nyahhhhh, nyahhhhh, YEM! ;-D) Matt64, Reibo, and I will enjoy the manly camaraderie that is football on a Monday night. I'm not a rabid fan at all, so spare me the brickbats for my decidedly tepid enthusiam for Gang Green.
On the gaming front, of course, we're less than 24 hours from the release of Halo: Reach. A nice selection of videos and news items are linked below. Still not buying it, tho. I've been sorely tempted every time I've walked by one of the store displays. After all, I've bought every single version of the Halo series... I even played a bit of Halo PC multiplayer and Halo 2 PC (Vista only... Yuck.) and kinda enjoyed it - at least when it was Team Rockets.
Today's featured Modern Warfare 2 vid is Hawk from 2Old2Play.com tearing up Overgrown with his precision marksmanship. The second vid is jollervet on a booster hunt, spoiling these douches' fun at every opportunity! Love it that folks are doing this to these bucketasses. Moving on...

- No campaign co-op for Call of Duty: Black Ops this year. Split screen combat training and split screen multiplayer are confirmed, and the secret co-op mode is still, well, secret.
- Device Mag: Call of Duty: Black Ops PC dedicated servers come with a catch. Best quote: 'Treyarchs [sic] servers will still be free, so this option is completely optional.' As opposed to non-optional options - which aren't really options, are they?
