No CoD last night, so mostly links...

No Modern Warfare multiplayer for me last night. Reibo was sidelined as well. We streamed some vids and went to sleep fairly early.

Back in November, while the Modern Warfare 2 single player was still fresh in my mind, I suggested the use of an AI director for the next MW installment. This Left 4 Dead 2 Joystiq review makes me question that a bit. It seems Valve may have upped the difficulty ante on the sequel more than they thought or more than some players expected. On to the links:

• Call of Duty 7 unconfirmed rumor: VietNam, more focused on story. Still say the Cold War has more oomph to it. Maybe Activision doesn't want to piss off the Russians again.
• The Telegraph says Modern Warfare 2 is the best selling item on Amazon UK. My favorite bit is in the first line: "Modern Warfare 2, a violent video game, was the biggest selling item..."
• Call of Duty Zombies is back on top of the iPhone apps.
