Bit of a thin update today, as the dreaded 4-banger work week is upon me. I'm literally minutes from hauling North to my home away from Home.
Mom was doing a bit better when we saw her last night. Her anticipated move to a nursing home for additional rehab has been forestalled by the need to resolve some of her outstanding medical issues. It didn't make any sense to us - someone who's too sick to do hospital setting rehab being sent to an even less monitored environment. You don't send people out sicker than when they came in - unless your hospital and priorities both suck balls. Doctors - Undertakers in White Lab Coats.
We're hoping that Mom's infection and weakness can be fixed so she can do some physical rehab and build up her strength again.
