Another update on dad

Ok, here is what is going on. Stacy's dad has to be put into a nursing home immediately. Stacy and her brother are going to be working frantically trying to find somewhere that takes Medicaid for him to stay. He is not doing well, and Stacy said that the doctor (who was gone before I got there) made it sound that this is pretty much it. He has had to have mittens put on his hands due to his belligerence and he just doesn't seem to be there any more. Stacy is having to have him declared incompetent. Needless to say this has hit us pretty hard, Stacy the most. With her not having a great relationship with her father for so many years, only to finally have sewn things up with him, to be put in this situation has been extremely difficult for her. What makes this even worse is that this is happening around the holidays, when the world is supposed to be happy and rejoicing, we just can not seem to get there.
