If ya'll ever get the chance to somehow get to the actual Normandy celebration, take it. I worked a VIP detail for the 60th anniversary and I'm tellin' ya, it's something else. You will not forget it. And to stand by the bunkers on Omaha and Utah and see what our guys were up against...it's amazing...sad too, because every year there's fewer and fewer of them around. As Jigs said, thank you for reminding us.

I was watching Headline news because there was nothing on TV...and this one guy wrote in and said, "does Obama realize that half the country is in mourning?" LOL...hahaha
