Today's news and another pic

Good afternoon guys. Megan had a pretty decent day yesterday. She was constantly filling up her drain tube so she was not able to vomit thankgoodness. Then last night came. Megan was sitting in bed and her nurse was giving her all of her meds. All of a sudden Megan started vomiting everywhere. This time it was filled with mucus, blood and formula. Her vomiting was very violent. We could not figure out why she was throwing up so much even with her drain tube. Her drain tube was over flowing as well. The other mystery is why she is backing up formula into her tummy from her intestines. You might see a little here and there but not as much as she is having. Seeing as how she cannot tolerate her formula in her belly anyways, which is why we have the j-tube, this is not a good thing. Anyways, they turned her off her feeds for a while. A little bit later she started hysterically screaming and jerking uncontrollably. They determined that Megan is also having sever muscle cramps. They are so bad that she now has to take medicine for them. They are also blaming this on her disease. She already takes Creatine for muscle pain but it doesn't seem to be helping too much. They are running more tests on her today and see if they can figure this out. Now, once again,we have a VERY huge praise. Today her mito doc called when she found out Megan was in the hospital. Our doctor called her and asked her to please come up here and see Megan and help them figure out what they can do to relieve some of her discomfort before things get any worse. That is a big deal because normally we have not been able to see her when she has been here and her appointment isnot until June but both of her doctors said she cannot wait that long.
