Shared on Wed, 12/10/2008 - 09:22So, yesterday I get a call from Stacy letting me know they had to take Stacy's dad to the hospital. He had some swelling of the legs and was conscious, but non-responsive. Meaning, they were asking him questions and he was basically rambling about nothing. A little background, this is Stacy's biological dad who has Alzheimer's. So, fast forward a bit, I met Stacy at the hospital and went in and saw her dad. He was TOTALLY out of it mentally. He knew who I was at first, but then was rambling about a lot of nothing. My heart broke a little. Seeing him like this is very sad. I used to play golf with, go out to dinners with him and other stuff, and now I am saddened to see him like this. So, he stayed the night and as of 10AM EST this morning, has not changed much. Keep him in your prayers as we are praying for him to get better soon and be able to go back to his place and have a wonderful Christmas.
