PS3 vs 360 - Sound

Probably the championship feature of the PS3 is that it is really really quiet!

The lack of fan noise is both welcome and a blessed change from the 360.  What is it with MS and noisy consoles?  My old XBox was horribly loud.

Either my hearing is going or I automatically tune it out because I never thought either the Xbox or the 360 was loud.

Very True, even with my AC on I can still hear the DVD Drive from the 360. The truth is that Hardware wise the PS3 is just better than the 360. You really can't compete in this division if your console breaks down with failure rates over 50%, huh Microsoft?

ekattan, I'm going to take issue with you on that statement. saying that the ps3 is "better" from a hardware perspective implies that it can do everything the 360 can do and better and we all know that's not true. just look at ea sports and their framerate issues. The 360 is the better gaming box right now. The PS3 IMHO is the better media box and is much more living room-friendly.
