Lately if a game is not fast paced with hordes of baddies barreling down at me, my eyes get heavy, the controller gets droopy, and I fall asleep on the couch. This happened last night as I was playing rote jRPG Infinite Undiscovery, which is a horrible name for a game. Let's just say I Undiscovered the game and re-discovered my couch pillows. Mmmm....so soft. This was the first time this happened to me with this game. And the game not that bad, and it has some killer classical music in the background. So soothing..zzz. Anyway, this happened all the time when I played Fallout. Fallout is a great fucking game but the pace is slower than a constipated snail turd. I would travel to a new area, kill a few baddies and then rest my eyes for a bit. Slump...zzz. I thought it was the beer that was making me doze off, but now I am starting to think I am just too old for slow games. The devastating duo of Work + Kids is leaving me no energy for trudging along searching for sweet loot. Maybe I need to switch to Peggle and wear black socks with my sandals. Shoot me now.
So if you see me online at 4 AM on a Weeknight, send me a message to wake the fuck up and go to bed!
