Day 2 of Halo 3 and still no xbox 360

Ok i know by now most people have allready been to the promised land and finished the fight. But i'm still stuck here on broke island, still trying escape Halo 2. See the plan was to run down to the nearest Gamestop after the yard sale and buy a refurb system until i could get a new one out the box. Hell just something to play halo 3 on, i didn't really care if it was an atari 7200 with a DVD hook up, that would allow me to play halo 3.

But it's funny how thing seem to work out when it's your money and not the mrs. money. Now all of a sudden the kids need this, the kids need that! Hell what about daddy needing to get his gun off with Halo 3?! So now i'm seeing more videos on Youtube and G4TV with all the game play and all that jazz, while i'm stuck trying to figure out how to get a 360 and still get my kids dental work done. Now don't get me wrong i know you have to put your kids needs in front of yours, but damn it seems like it's been a long time before i have been able to put my needs in front of my kids! So maybe by my birth day(March) i can finish the fight, unless the halo gods and the tooth fairy can come together and make some things happen, and a 360 will arive at my door. But the way things happen to go, I'm sure that she would have talked to them before they would arrive to deliver it.
