Bought a new computer to replace the one I had which was dying prior to leaving on vacation.  I moved most of my files and preferences over before I left, but just started last night in earnest trying to actually use Windows Vista.

This brought about some serious questions:

Did anyone that had anything to do with developing Vista ever actually use a previous version of Windows?  Or a computer at all for that matter?

Why does the explorer automatically assume I want to look in the My Documents folders above and beyond all else?  Where is the "folder view" option?

What kind of micro-minded simpleton would be so impressed by the Aero "interface," that they'd think it'd be worth the resource drain?

And finally, could the said Vista-developers mentioned above please all start wearing unique baseball caps with "Vista" lettered prominently across the front?  This would allow myself and other like-minded individuals to identify and subsequently throat-punch them if ever we were fortunate enough to make such a meeting on the street.

So help me, Christ...my next computer is going to be a Mac.

I will join you for some throat-punching, just name the time and place. I have it at work, and it sure does suck. I personally had no problem with xp pro. With multiple windows open, the 'windows button/tab combo looks neat but no more functional than alt/tab on the previous IMHO
