Finally. Done.

I just finished writing my last paper before spring break officially starts.  The missus' and my five year anniversary is next month, but as I'm without academic obligation next week we're celebrating early.  If I go to bed immediately after I click Submit, I'll get four hours of sleep before it's time to get up and dash to the airport for the flight to Jamaica.

The thing that makes vacations so much more enjoyable is when you have absolute madness before they start.  And the thing that makes anniversaries special is when you know in your heart you could search for a thousand years without finding anyone half as special.

So until next Thursday I will be absent in every sense of the word.  Lament or rejoice as you see fit.  But regardless, I plan on drinking a Red Stripe for each and every one of you.
