Shared on Mon, 03/05/2007 - 19:25Dick Cheney was treated today for a blood clot in his leg. These types of things can be very dangerous. If they break free they can lead to a stroke or heart attack.
Some heated discussion went down yesterday regarding whether Bill Maher called for Cheney's assasination or if he merely said he didn't mind if Dick died.
I'd like to distance myself from these implications and wish our Vice President the most speedy of recoveries and good health for years to come. As far as I know, he's more cyborg than human at this point anyway (think Darth Vadar at the end of Return of the Jedi) Poor guy can't afford to lose a leg to a thrombosis.
Then again, if in God's cosmic balance a certain number of people on the planet must die every year due to this type of thing, well...
Um...nevermind.
