Something I didn't know

Had Ivan (my ipod) set on shuffle the other day while I was lawnmower dancing.  The Kid Rock  song "Where U at Rock?" (fuck off, yes I have Kid Rock on my ipod) came on.  Heard a lyric I'd never been aware of before

Old Crow and a soul full of desperation
I'm rockin' up on the mic with no consideration
For you're church or you're family
Ayn Rand couldn't stand me so she banned me

Rock dissing Objectivism, all up in Ayn's grill.  Wouldn't have figured.

If the albumn wasn't nine years old, I would have said it was a sign the apocalypse was nigh.

well she said "A man's moral character must be judged on the basis of his actions, his statements, and his conscious convictions." and she had nothing but contempt for people like him who practice altruism. for her people like Kid were nothing more then 'looters' . in addition she shared with Marx the bourgeois ideology that only a few people were capable of running things. The masses ought to be happy to have a job working for bosses. just some thoughts. PS Kid Rock!? personally i liked limp brisket better
