I bought LOTR the third age last week for my 180. Yeah, I know its old, but it looked entertaining and we dont have a 360 yet.
OH MY GOODNESS that game is boring and poorly done. Walk ten feet, do turn based fighting for ten minutes, walk ten feet, do turn based fighting for ten minutes, walk ten feet....... Then every thirty minutes watch some poor quality clips from the movie.

I want to finish it just to see how they did minus tirith and stuff, but It will be sold when I am done.

LMAO I here ya lady, I rented it back in the day before I had 360, I actually liked it but i am an old RPG nerd at heart and miss the days of dragon warrior etc. Repeat after me must buy 360, hurry must buy 360 LOL, so you can play all these crazy arcade games LOL. Or chromehounds, but chrome isnt everybodies kind of game, but I love it, makes good use of clan/squads. See you later Lady

I was about to buy it when it was new but opted to rent it instead. Thank God. It was a makeover of FFX and not near as good. I Love me some RPG too & I hated this game. I think I played it for 3-4 hrs the first nite and didnt touch it again.

Im an RPG gal, so that is why I thought I would like it. I love Zelda, Fable, KoTOR etc Add in that Im a tolkien geek and I was stoaked. BTW I played for two hours last night and missed the one save point (fighting at helms deep) and my party died. GAME OVER WTF! no chance to revive my party? whats the point of having a party revival potion if you cant use it because the game is over when your party dies. two hours lost. SUCK!

I found this game to be absolutely awesome. I have played through it like four or five times and was just thinking about playing it again. Yes it is your basic turn based RPG, but building up skills is a lot fun for me at least. You must have got screwed somehow if you actually died in the game. I play it on the hardest difficulty and haven't ever killed my entire party yet. If you continue to play make sure you use Berethor's Leadership skills as often as you can. Especially stand fast.

Yep, I have to echo KingBayman and biorod. I had the game unopened since the xmas it came out and just opened it about 2 months ago(damn you Halo2!), but I thought it was a very well done game. The sound is great and I liked the story and especially the way they integrated the video clips into the overall gameplay. Yeah they aren't dvd quality or anything but I felt they enhanced the story line and feel of the game.
