Aunt Erin brings over the dog that lives at her house from time to time. I love dogs. Lots and lots, however I know how much work they are and I know that if I got one I would want a big dog and I would want to take good care of it. I love it when Erin brings over Charlie because it reminds me how much I love dogs, yet how this is SO not the time in my life for our family to have one. Im grateful that the kids still have the opportunity to interact with a dog but that I dont have to feed it, brush it, pick up its poop, and continually try to make my house not smell like dog. So three cheers for Charlie, and three cheers for Aunt Erin for bringing him over for us to love on.

BTW, I thought it most impressive that my kids were able to wear out a golden retriever
