Getting ready for Sunday

Sunday is my son Brians going away to bootcamp/high school graduation party. The boy ships out in 12 days. Im feeling more and more sad and yet even more proud of my son for doing what he is doing, during these troubled times in this fucked up world we live in.

My ex-inlaws and my ex-wife will be on hand, as well as countless other relatives from that side of the family. Im just glad I actually have a good relationship with my ex-inlaws....the ex-wife on the other hand....stupid she is.

This week (July 7th) also marks my one year wedding aniversary to my loving wife Deb. This woman is holding me together as I prepare to say goodbye for now to my son.

Cant say I envy your son. I had one of those parties...went to boot camp the August after I graduated high school and turned 18 at basic training. Its really difficult, possibly more than he can imagine right now. Tell him the guys at 2Old2Play said good luck! BTW, in which service did he enlist?

Im not sure what he knows or doesnt, but if he wants some tips that the recruiters dont bother to tell their recruits, I can PM you some stuff.
