Have you ever gotten into an intense round of Slayer and had an intensely wonderful, kill-filled round that made your insides tingle with joy? Great feeling indeed!
On the other side of that leet round is...THE SHITTY ROUND. For me, it is usually the first few rounds. And then some random rounds in the middle. I am not steady at having really bad rounds. I'll have a good few mixed in with a grip of mediocre rounds and then one or two very notable awful, shitty, I may as well poop my pants rounds.
Those terrible games make me want to turn off the Xbox and wallow in my noobish situation. The 400-ish credits I get from a crap round laugh in my face as I look to see the one medal I get for tossing a lucky grenade. But I don't turn off the Xbox or write an angry Tweet!
I get back on that Moa and play at least one more round after the crapfest. I remind myself that I'm not a total noob, even if the people I just played with think otherwise. Yeah yeah yeah, it's just a game or some other weak fact.
I rise like a Pelican out from a grunt-infested shit pit and pwn again.
That's how its done, son.
