My boss and some others were coming back from a meeting today and they got behind this car that was weaving all over the road. The car was crossing the yellow line, etc. They stayed behind her and even when they got to a hill (back country road with only one lane each) where they had the third lane to pass they didn't. Well an 18 wheeler did pass them and then realized what was going on and didn't pass the other car. Each time the car would weave into the other lane the truck driver would honk the horn and flash his lights. I asked if they called the cops and they said they did, but they never showed up... Well eventually they got to a major intersection where there was a red light. The driver of the car got in the left hand turning lane and was gong to turn onto the interstate. They pulled up beside her and jumped out of the van and went over to her car to make sure she wasn't having a diabetic episode or some other medical incident. They opened her doors and could immediately smell the alcohol. They took her keys and put her in the van. Thankfully one of the person's in the van with my boss is a police officer and had his badge with him. They drove her over to a parking lot and called the cops. It took the cops 40 minutes to arrive !!!!

The lady refused the test and in GA that is an immediate loss of license for one year. So apparently she caved and blew.

The lady blew POINT 28 ( .28 )

And this lady was going to get on the interstate. I say a job well done. They just prevented a MAJOR accident from happening on the highway.

If you want to drink that is fine, but if you drive your butt belongs in jail !!!!

I bet it looked funny when they all rushed her car. I bet some other people that they were carjacking the lady.

Nice...it would have been a different story without a sworn in police officer... I've called 911 on people...this one time, I followed a guy for about an hour...he was all over the road, and speeding up and slowing down (where he shouldn't) and when we got into separate lanes of traffic...I motioned to him on my phone, and dialed 911...he was pissed. This was the one and only time there has ever been a state trooper near by.
