Smokey Georgia

So we decided to leave a little early for the vacation and stop in Georgia overnight.  I called and got a hotel in Tifton, Georgia.  I asked about the smoke and they said it was fine.  Being a firefighter I should have known better... At night when the wind dies down the smoke just settles.. Well it settles in Tifton.  In case you haven't heard Southern Georgia has been on fire for the last couple of weeks.  I live five hours away and a couple of hundred miles and this week the smoke was in our neighborhood.  The smoke isn't thick.  Kind of like being around a smokey campfire.  Now my wife sees what I go through when we have woods fires.  Tomorrow it is off to Florida for a couple of days of vacation and then I have to go to a a conference while the wife, daughter and Mother-in-law relax by the pool.
