Quite the opposite in fact. There is too much going on and not nearly enough time to write about it. Recently my wife and I moved into our new condo after waiting for what seemed like forever. The wait was well worth it because the place is absolutely amazing and only getting better as time goes on. While deciding what space will be used for what function in our new home, my wife and i negotiated what I like to call the deal of the century. I traded full use of the master bedroom closet for use of the second bedroom or as I like to now call it "The Game Room". That's right I finially have a game room and my OH my what a room it is. I have a 46 inch Sony Bravia set up as my TV of choice for games in 720 and 1080p/i as needed. For sound I have the harmon/kardon HKTS 15 speakers hooked into the harmon/kardon receiver ( AVR 146). The sound on this is unlike anything I have ever heard before. The subwoofer alone is the size of a mini fridge and really creates an immersive gaming environment. Both the PS3 and 360 games look and sound fantastic on this setup and Blue-Rays are something else.
GTA IV has been keeping me busy since its release in April. I am only %75 of the way through the game leaving a nice size chunk that still needs to be played. Standing in the way of this last 1/4 of GTA IV is MGS4. Personally I have never played a MGS game but I did a lot of reading on plot lines and history leading up to the release of the 4th installment so I could jump right in. After playing the first 2 hours of MGS4 last night I can certainly say that it is something rather special. The first two hours were almost too much for me to take in and I didn't even play that much. There is such a deep story, environment and attitude in this game that I am almost tempted to go back and do it again to take it all in once more. MGS4 is going to be a wild ride and I almost want to give it 100% of my full attention. It sits there like a tempting piece of fruit waiting to be eaten while I finish off the buffet dinner that is GTA IV. So there you have it.....new home, new room, new setup and new games. Gaming has never been so good.
