It took a bit of time to get the hang on the combat system. I liked how you were able to customize all the characters and upgrade any aspect of their combat arsenal. I followed the paragon path for this playthrough and will most likely choose the renegade conversation tree for the second playthrough. The size of the Mass Effect universe allowed me to overlook some of the technical glitches present inside the game. Overall I had a blast playing this one all the way through and I look forward to seeing how things turn out on the Renegade side of the coin.
Once I finished Mass Effect, I was looking for something new to play. That something new turned out to be the Rock Band bundle. So far so great with Rock Band. I enjoy 99% of the games that I play because I do my homework before I pick them up but Rock Band is by far the most fun of them all. My fiance and her sister have been kind enough to jump on the drums and the mic so I'm not a one man band on guitar. My fiance rarely games with me and she was even asking me if I wanted to knock out a few tunes. The DLC for Rock Band is amazing and will keep the game fresh for months to come. I have already downloaded a few of the packs and individual songs. This is a great social game and a lot of fun to play with family and friends.
