Lately I have found that there aren't many games that I like enough to drop the $60 and own. There seem to be more games out there now that I would like to rent for a week or so and play through or try them out. Guitar Hero Aerosmith and Condemned 2 I'm looking at you. As a result I signed up for an online game rental services that sends you games through the mail. It is the standard arrangement of 2 games out at a time and they send you new ones when you return them in the mail. Today I should be getting Mercs 2 and The Club. I'm very excited to try out Mercs 2 but not so much The Club. I played the demo for The Club and wasn't overly impressed. I didn't even put The Club at the top of my games list so I have no idea why it was sent to me ahead of other games. Oh well I'll still give it a try.

I'm going to be getting a rental service for next year as well. Too many games and i'm not going ot fork out 60 bucks a pop for them all . Renting hurts the whole money train for the game industry but there's just too much and it's too expensive. Drop the price to PC game levels and maybe i'd reconsider.

Honestly, down the road you can also make a killing on buying the rentals used (as least Gamefly lets you do this), I got Bioshock for 30 even when it was still running 50 used at Gamestop and other sucky outlets.

I buy used from Gamefly too. It really helps with our 3 xbox household.
